CBWags4u Dachsies has taken much time to study our
Miniature Dachshunds so that we may
produce sound structure, good health, and even temperament in
our English Cream Long Coat Miniature Dachshunds, and Smooth
Coat Miniature Dachshunds - it is our intent to produce and select from our
breeding line to be able to compete in the American
Kennel Club Conformation, and other AKC Sporting Events.
We are now in the process of producing the fifth generation bred
by CBWags4u Dachsies - we continue to study, and feel confident in
knowing the bloodline history of our Import, and American
pedigree long & smooth coat dachshunds. The most common look that we produce is a
pale cream or shaded pale cream, black & cream long coat
miniature dachshund. In smooth coat miniature dachshunds
we are able to produce red, black & tan, blue & tan, and
chocolate & tan. The pattern that can appear in either
coat is dapple.
With either the long or smooth coat miniature dachshund they are
a joy to own as companions because of their clown-like, curious,
and intelligent nature - nothing
gets passed these guys without a full investigation!

CBWags4u Puppy Nursery
We have taken photos for you to peek at our Nursery which is very
similar to a baby nursery including a baby monitor - this room is
not available to the public, and is our very special place to spend
time with our Mothers raising their puppies!
Our breeding program
includes very distinguished pedigrees, with a strong focus on long
hair or long coat Creams. CBWags4u Dachsies is very proud of
the origin of our pedigree being from the original "English Cream
Miniature Dachshunds". Creams can appear to be very pale or
silvery, golden, shaded (with black hairs interspersed), ee
red (a lighter red with highlights on the coat of very pale cream
(usually the underbelly, and "pants" which is the hair on the back
end) - their looks are equaled by their personalities - both are
Exceptions to the breed!
We have the ability to
produce - quality in the three important areas - conformation,
temperament, and health. We also add variety to the creams
with a "dash" of color. Only in the Miniature Dachshund is the
variety of color and pattern available. Colors include the
basic red, black, chocolate, blue, and Isabella which is also called
fawn. The points
(lighter color on the face, legs, and backend "pants") will appear
as cream, tan or a very rich rust. The patterns we can produce
are dapple or piebald - we take careful consideration to our
patterns, and DO NOT produce mixed patterns. The coat types in our
breeding program are the elegant longs and the shiny smooth.
The dispositions or temperaments of CBWags4u Miniature Dachshunds
are very sweet in nature, and we believe that once you have had the
opportunity to meet one of our Cream or Cream Carrying Miniature
Dachshunds - that you will agree and feel likewise as the "Cream
Temperament" has made a lasting impression on our hearts which
we wish to share with other fanciers & families!

Our
puppies are placed as special companion pets "Limited Registration"
to their new homes. Please

guarantee to replace your puppy should a genetic health issue
present itself.
Our puppies are raised in
our home, and given what we feel is the best environment and care -
tapping into our knowledge base, years experience, and the
invaluable help of The Wittenberg Veterinary Clinic with special
thanks to Dr. Kris Hoffman, DVM and Dr. Linda Prososki, DVM,
who continue to give such valuable support to our family.

veterinarian!
We evaluate puppies at the age of eight weeks for
their possible potential as "Show" or Full Registration offering
- we welcome serious inquires for "show" homes, and our terms
are defined and non-negotiable regarding Full Registration.

"How much is that doggy in
the window?" - We believe that adopting a puppy or an adult CBWags4u
Dachsie is an important decision for you or your family to consider,
and before answering any questions about fees we ask that all
potential homes for our companions complete our adoption
questionnaire, and that you review our contract - which outlines the conditions for
adoption. Once we have had an opportunity to review the
submitted questionnaire, and
we will accept a $250 deposit which is non refundable toward the fee which
is $600 for companion or pet puppies.
Our fees are reasonable considering the continuing cost
increases on nutrition, supplies, health care - we have averaged our
fee for savings to you the customer, and yet having the ability to
continue to give ONLY THE VERY BEST toward the needs of our
Miniature Dachshunds.
We do not issue cash refunds for deposits - the funds that we
receive for a deposit will remain available to apply towards the
companion of your choice - without an expiration date - we feel that
this policy insures the sincere thought of adding a new member to
your family!
We understand that there are many options
available to you for selecting a companion or show puppy, and feel
that we provide our clients with excellence in both the opportunity
to own a beautiful, healthy companion with guarantees not often
offered because we believe and stand behind our work of love which
is a lifetime journey to improve the breed. CBWags4u
Dachsies really understand that they are Companion Pets First and
Foremost and are hand raised in a loving home environment.
We are happy to provide
written notification to you, and confirm the puppy is yours by
name on our website. We also will provide you with updated
information as your new addition grows! It is our policy
not to release our puppies before the age of 9 weeks if the
puppy being picked up by the owner, and not before 12 weeks for
any puppy being shipped to their new home - The time we release
a puppy also varies upon the weaning age of the litter, and our
desire to see that progressive socialization of puppies is
satisfactory to a point where they are ready for their new
homes!
We welcome visitors by
appointment to meet us, and our Dachsies - if you are out of
town, and cannot visit us - or prefer - we can provide multiple
references from customers, other reputable breeders, AKC show
references, our Veterinarian, and we are proud members of the
National Miniature Dachshund Club. Thank you!
